So last night I went to see Life In Film (blog post here) at the Norwich Arts Centre, and I’m gonna start off by saying that it wasn’t the best gig I’ve been to. This was mainly due to the lack of people there, and I felt quite sorry for Life In Film who are going back to London to fill out a 3000+ venue; definitely doesn’t match the 100-200 people there last night.
Anyway, I digress.
I found myself listening to the first support band Empire (from Norwich, woo!) and growing to love their music, below are a couple of their songs…
Well Finland do seem to be pumping out great music, and Kailo is no different. This music reminds me a lot of Tokio Hotel, with the female voice cutting through a rock/alternative backdrop. I deeply suggest a listen!
Don’t know if you have had your head in the ground, but that cowboy from White Stripes is going solo. Just thought I’d let you know, because I’m a top lad. Also, his debut album Blunderbuss is set for release on 24th April!
In other news I have to get up at 5.30 tomorrow, how shit is that?
So Howler’s debut album came out last week and it is a goodun. There music may not be cutting edge, but I can only seeing them getting better and would be amazing live. The way the album is produced reminds me of The Vaccines’ album, it is no nonsense; and I like it.
